Joining L.O.F.T. is easy. The requirements are simple:
- You must be a current AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) member in good standing.
- You must pay an annual dues of $2.
There are no forms to fill out. All you have to do is mail the club secretary a letter of intent to join that includes your name, address, phone number, and e-mail (optional), and list of radio frequencies that you fly your gliders on. Include a check or money order for $15 payable to “League of Flight by Thermal” and a copy of your AMA card. We’ll add you to the club roster and invite you to the e-mail discussion list (if you provide your e-mail.)
