While also scored with the regular classes, LOFT also scores the same flights in a separate “Woody” class based on Ray Hayes’s Wood Crafters rules:
– Wing and stab are built up wood construction.
– No restrictions on spar construction or materials.
– No molded D-tube leading edge construction.
– Fusalage can be wood, glassed wood or molded construction, including the fin.
– Carbon reinforcements can be used on any part of the structure.
